3.       People do not have an unalienable right to happiness itself, but like the declaration states, they should be able to pursue it. No one will remain happy all their lives because things get in the way and situations change, life isn’t fair. We can’t be guaranteed happiness because there is no way to possess it fully. People take it for granted if it is just handed to them. It can only be taken away from them in the metaphorical sense, happiness is what people make out of their lives, how they view their situation. And it is up to them to be optimistic and make themselves happy.
